Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoão Neto is an engineering leader with 11 years of experience building and scaling hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams across startups and regulated aerospace environments. Currently stabilising a post-Series A devices organisation at Okra Solar, he specialises in restoring execution predictability, instituting quality systems for scale, and advising founders on trade-offs between product roadmaps and organisational constraints. As a founder of Dalma Robotics and former CEO of Biocant Park he has hands-on experience taking products from prototype to first sales and leading operational turnarounds under tight financial constraints. His background in aerospace program management and structural engineering brings rigorous systems thinking and compliance-focused delivery to consumer and industrial device development. An academic at heart—teaching computer science and working with probabilistic programming—he blends formal thinking (Python, R, Haskell, Bayesian methods) with practical manufacturing know-how. He also invests and mentors early-stage Portuguese startups, combining operator experience with strategic capital to help founders scale.
