Top SchoolJoão Pesce is a curiosity-driven technology leader and co-founder with 12 years building consumer-facing digital products and retail tech from Brazil. As CTO of Oficina (formerly Oficina Reserva), he blends product, design and engineering to deliver omnichannel e-commerce, a headless editorial platform, mobile apps and a subscription program that now drives 10%+ of digital revenue. He founded Brazil’s first scalable tech-native tailoring startup, turning body-measurement algorithms into a production pipeline that led to acquisition by Reserva. His background in academic research—spanning UFMG, Cambridge, Northeastern and IIIT Delhi—means he pairs rigorous, human-centered research with pragmatic product engineering. João’s hallmark is connecting disparate domains (design systems, logistics, chatbot-driven customer service and in-store integration) to tame complexity and ship cohesive experiences.
