Top SchoolJoão Pinho is a senior software developer based in São Paulo with over 16 years of hands-on experience building web platforms, payment gateways, marketplaces and government systems using Java/Kotlin, PHP and modern front-end stacks. He combines deep expertise in relational and NoSQL databases with a track record of designing system architecture and leading small engineering teams across startups and enterprise projects. João has steered platform and infrastructure work as an IT Director and continues to consult and deliver complex features as an independent developer while holding a senior role at SOMOS Educação. Since 2017 he has specialized in blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystems and more recently NFTs, bringing a practical perspective on how distributed ledger tech intersects with finance, art and product design. He is comfortable owning end-to-end solutions—from API and backend architecture to deployment and operational concerns—and has repeatedly modernized legacy systems into maintainable platforms. Known as a pragmatic problem-solver and collaborator, João thrives in dynamic environments where technical breadth and product thinking matter.
