Top SchoolJoaquim Silveira is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building high-throughput, distributed systems using Java, Kotlin and the Spring ecosystem. He has led migrations from monoliths to microservices and architected resilient platforms at scale (including systems handling up to a million simultaneous users) across e‑commerce and payments companies. Comfortable across backend stacks—AWS, Kafka-style microservices patterns, Cassandra/MongoDB, SQL and JVM tooling—he favors pragmatic freedom in design to speed delivery and improve code quality. A persistent problem solver who loves challenging puzzles, Joaquim pairs test-driven practices and automation with a strong engineering mindset to ship reliable production software. Based in São Paulo, he blends deep hands-on implementation with experience in both startup and enterprise environments.
