Top SchoolJodie Burchell is a Senior Data Science Developer Advocate with 11 years of experience translating applied ML and NLP research into production-ready tooling and developer experiences. Based in Berlin and leading Python advocacy at JetBrains, she advises product teams on data-science-first IDE features (notably Polars DataFrame and Hugging Face model card support) while also raising JetBrains’ profile through keynotes and workshops at major conferences. Her background spans industry and academia—from building privacy-first on-device audience models and cost-saving ad-inference systems to publishing biostatistics research used in healthcare practice—so she bridges rigorous statistical thinking with pragmatic engineering. She’s an experienced remote team lead and mentor who repeatedly turns complex data problems into actionable product and community outcomes.
