Senior Designer at Microsoft
Duvall, Washington, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorJoe Day is a Senior User Experience Designer with over a decade of hands-on experience crafting web and mobile products across startups, churches, and Microsoft. He blends a designer’s eye for simplicity with front-end engineering chops—building React/Next.js prototypes, resolving Git merges, and authoring token-based design libraries—while leading cross-functional teams to align UX with business goals. At Microsoft he contributes to design systems (notably work on the Winstrap Bootstrap theme) and keeps Figma as his daily studio while retaining practical HTML/CSS skills. Joe’s background in music, photography, and community leadership informs a collaborative, human-centered approach to product design and a knack for translating complex systems into clear, usable interfaces.
