Top SchoolJoe Gambino is a Senior Software Engineer based in Portland, Oregon with 11 years of experience building consumer and enterprise software across mobile, web, and CMS platforms. He has led cross-functional initiatives under tight deadlines—most notably driving the mobile side of Expensify's Super Bowl campaign from concept to delivery while coordinating teams across time zones. Joe brings deep practical expertise in mobile location services, having rebuilt Expensify’s mileage tracking to significantly reduce crashes and improve receipt currency detection, and he pairs that with full‑stack experience in .NET, PHP, and modern web stacks. Comfortable mentoring engineers and producing clear technical documentation, he balances product-focused execution with hands-on implementation. An entrepreneurial streak shows in co-founding student price-comparison sites earlier in his career, reflecting a pragmatic blend of user-centered design and systems thinking.
