Top SchoolJoe Mitchard is an application developer with 11 years’ experience building cloud-native .NET systems across AWS and Azure, complemented by strong skills in SQL, MongoDB, messaging (MassTransit, RabbitMQ), gRPC, TypeScript/React and Terraform. He has delivered end-to-end features and infrastructure improvements for front-office finance tools and trade surveillance, including leading an RDS Serverless V1→V2 migration that boosted performance and cut costs. Comfortable across backend Lambdas and ECS Fargate, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and React front ends, he blends hands-on coding with DevOps ownership. Based in London, he brings a history of evolving platforms at pace and a pragmatic focus on reliable, cost-effective systems rather than purely theoretical designs.
