Top SchoolJoe Osowski is a Staff Development Engineer in Seattle with nearly two decades of experience building and maintaining web applications focused on scalability, testability, and maintainability. He has led teams and projects across Java, .NET, and modern microservice stacks, driving migrations to agile practices, CI, and cloud deployments while architecting search, notification, and data-mining systems at scale. Notable work includes designing SOLR search schemas and Apache Camel workflows for PLOS, leading a polyglot microservices greenfield at ProQuest, and spearheading large data migrations and frontend performance improvements. Comfortable as an individual contributor or technical lead, he blends hands‑on implementation, refactoring, and process improvements to reduce risk and accelerate delivery. Quietly pragmatic, he often surfaces as the engineer who turns legacy systems into maintainable platforms that enable product teams to move faster.
