Top SchoolJoel Aguero is a product-minded engineer and design leader with 12 years of experience building developer and consumer-facing products from ideation to scale. Currently leading product, design, and frontend at Codegen, he manages cross-functional teams shipping AI developer tools while also founding Studio Flurry to help startups like Brex and Persona reach Series B+ scale. Previously he built The San Francisco Standard’s product organization from the ground up, growing readership to over 1M monthly uniques and materially boosting engagement and revenue. Joel blends hands-on frontend and UX craft with data-informed product strategy—an uncommon mix that helps bridge design, engineering, and go-to-market execution. Based in San Francisco and trained at Stanford in Product Design and Engineering, he’s now applying that background to civic tech through Civic Action Labs.
