Top SchoolJoel Camargo is a Senior Software Engineer based in Atlanta with nine years of professional experience and a focused trajectory into Android development, currently building at SiriusXM after several progressive Android roles at Pandora. He transitioned from customer-facing and operations roles (including the U.S. Army and mortgage lending) into software through Udacity nanodegrees and a hands-on learning approach—“fixing one bug at a time”—that reflects practical, continuous improvement. Joel brings product-minded engineering to mobile platforms, combining strong user empathy from his service background with disciplined execution on Android apps. Outside of code he pursues fitness and creative hobbies, a personal discipline that mirrors his steady career growth and appetite for learning.
