Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoel Jimenez is a Senior Fullstack engineer and tech lead with 11 years of hands-on experience building enterprise-grade web applications from startups to large SaaS products. He specializes in Node.js, Typescript, Angular and React, with strong backend skills in PostgreSQL and REST API design, and a track record of migrating legacy JS to modern TypeScript codebases. At Oracle and Paystand he led frontend delivery, reviewed peer code, and coached teammates across multicultural, distributed teams, consistently shipping features guided by design and architecture. Comfortable owning the full development life cycle, he pairs pragmatic engineering with testing (Mocha/Selenium) and performance-focused improvements such as async optimizations and Redis-backed real-time features. Based in Guadalajara, he blends hands-on implementation with people leadership—often stepping into reviewer and mentor roles—and maintains a public portfolio at joelbarranco.io.
