Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoel Weber is a pragmatic technology leader with 11 years of hands-on experience building and shipping web products, currently serving as Head of Technology at RueBaRue and a long-time developer at GearCommons. He excels at taking projects from concept to production—having founded and served as CTO of Animajig.com where he built the product from the ground up and recruited key partners. Based in Massachusetts, Joel combines a developer’s grit with strategic oversight, focusing on reliable, maintainable systems that “just work” even under unexpected conditions. His background in English literature gives him an uncommon strength in documentation and cross-team communication, turning ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans. Joel’s style is pragmatic and results-driven: he prioritizes shipping functional solutions and fixing what won’t behave until it does.
