Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoep Simons is a pragmatic founder and software engineer with a decade of experience building backend systems in Python and working across databases and frontends. He blends hands-on engineering—six years in Python, multi-year experience with PostgreSQL and JavaScript—with roles in DevOps and Scrum leadership at de Volksbank and enterprise delivery at CGI. Joep favors projects that combine software with uncommon areas of human life, evident from healthcare and smart-grid work to biometric and SCADA systems. Comfortable shipping end-to-end solutions, he moves between startups and large organizations, having also launched SimonsSoftware in 2024. Based in Geldermalsen, he brings an engineer’s focus on reliable, practical implementations rather than grand visions.
