Top SchoolJoeri Belis is an experienced IT professional with over 10 years focused on data migration and ERP implementations, currently driving Odoo/OpenERP migrations for Natuurpunt from Mechelen, Belgium. He combines strong integration skills—transforming XML with XSLT—and a polyglot engineering background spanning C#, F#, Scala, Node.js and Unix environments. Comfortable across OO and functional paradigms, Joeri has practical experience with EDI, RDBMS (Progress/OpenEdge) and cross-platform tooling on Linux and macOS. His career blends hands-on development with long-term operational ICT experience at retail and nonprofit organizations, making him adept at turning messy legacy data into reliable production systems. An active learner who explores open source and niche languages, he brings a pragmatic, tool-agnostic approach to complex migrations and systems integration.
