Top SchoolJoey K is a blockchain-focused technology leader based in Amsterdam with nine years of hands-on experience building networks, wallets, and high-throughput systems. Currently Head of Blockchain at OpenServ, he previously led engineering and CTO roles where he shipped testnets/mainnets, a browser wallet used by 50K+ people, and smart contracts for digital collectibles and DeFi. He has repeatedly scaled teams and products—from recruiting and mentoring Web3 developers to delivering production-grade explorers and CRM/back-end platforms. Joey blends protocol-level Substrate experience with practical product delivery, making complex blockchain primitives accessible to end users. Notably, his career shows a pattern of moving quickly from engineering to strategic leadership while keeping a developer's focus on shipping resilient systems.
