Top SchoolJohan Borestad is a pragmatic lead developer and software architect with 11 years of professional experience building high-performance, scalable web and game platforms across startups and large enterprises. He blends deep full‑stack expertise—from low‑level networking and performance tuning to UX and WebGL/VR—with hands‑on infrastructure work in CI/CD, containerization, and automation. Known as a pattern‑recognition problem solver, Johan has led architecture and optimization efforts at companies like NetEnt, Telia and Klarna, and most recently heads development at ELK Studios. He mentors teams, promotes strong team spirit, and prioritizes manufacturable, cost‑effective systems that users actually enjoy. Outside work he obsessively experiments with home automation, KVM/LXD/Docker and GPU offloading—practical hobbies that inform his system design choices. His long arc as a polyglot coder and book reviewer shows a rare mix of pragmatic production discipline and relentless curiosity.
