Top SchoolJohan Huijkman is a business consultant and seasoned digital accessibility expert with over 13 years in the field and more than 20 years of experience strengthening digital services across government and commercial organizations. He operates at the intersection of policy, design and delivery, helping teams, vendors and decision-makers embed accessibility structurally into policy and day-to-day practice. Johan combines hands-on interaction design and front-end development roots with pragmatic advisory work, translating strategy into actionable processes and supplier management. Known for a direct, creative style and a good sense of humor, he focuses on making inclusive digital experiences an automatic part of service design rather than an afterthought. Based in Amsterdam, he serves on nonprofit boards and has contributed to national design system accessibility efforts, bringing both grassroots craft and governance perspectives. His uncommon strength is bridging high-level policy with tangible implementation, ensuring accessibility is auditable and sustainable.
