Top SchoolJohann Höchtl is a technical expert in analytics and artificial intelligence with 15 years’ experience designing data architectures, BI solutions, ingestion pipelines and AI services for the Austrian Chambers of Commerce. He combines hands-on engineering and project leadership at WKO Inhouse with academic depth—a PhD from TU Vienna focused on open government data—and a long history of shaping public data standards like DCAT-AP. Johann has led quality and open-data initiatives nationally and advised EU twinning projects, demonstrating an ability to translate policy and metadata standards into production-ready infrastructure. Outside work he restores defunct machinery and hikes the Alps, a hint at his methodical, hands-on approach and patience juggling complex systems—and four children.
