Top SchoolJohannes Krohn is a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer based in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main area with over two decades of experience at Cisco, including 11 years focused on technical marketing and product architecture. He specializes in collaboration technologies, unified communications, SIP and global call routing architectures, SAML-based SSO, and mobility, bringing deep expertise in both routing/switching and legacy ATM network design. Johannes blends hands-on systems engineering with customer-facing product strategy, having moved from field roles to global technical marketing leadership. He is known for translating complex telecom and security requirements into practical deployment guidance and scalable architectures. With a Master’s in Computer Science from KIT, he pairs strong academic foundations with extensive real-world experience across large-scale enterprise networks. A less obvious strength is his long tenure inside a single global vendor, which gives him rare institutional knowledge of product evolution and interoperable collaboration ecosystems.
