John-Dag Addy
Summary
👤
SeniorJohn-dag Addy is a founder and CEO with 9 years of experience building custom web, mobile and AI-driven systems, currently leading The Codefoundry and serving as CTO for an agritech platform impacting West African markets. A former associate pastor who helped scale a congregation from 3,000 to over 10,000, he uniquely blends ministry operations experience with technical delivery—designing systems that surface who’s “going quiet” long before pastors have to guess. He’s shipped products used by 100,000+ users and delivered for global brands like Uber, McDonald’s and Reckitt, and is a Neo4j Certified Professional and knowledge-graph specialist. Skilled across React, GraphQL, Node.js, Flutter and serverless patterns, he has built church management platforms, sermon apps reaching 30,000 monthly users, and volunteer coordination systems for 1,000+ people. Based in São Paulo with a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, he combines pastoral empathy with production-grade engineering to solve people-centered scale problems. An uncommon detail: he founded a developer community while pastoring, intentionally bridging developer learning with ministry needs.
