Top SchoolJohn Elgenstierna is a Senior Product Designer based in Stockholm with 11 years of experience crafting usable interfaces across POS, web and commerce ecosystems. He has led design initiatives at both early-stage startups and larger platforms—shaping design ops, hiring, and ways of working at Treyd and helping establish small design organizations at Loomis Pay and Zettle/PayPal. Currently at Pleo, he focuses on pragmatic product design that balances merchant and customer needs, informed by hands-on prototyping and cross-functional collaboration. Notably, his background spans device-specific POS work through to web platforms, giving him a rare fluency in both hardware-adjacent UX and service-level design. Though not active on GitHub, his decade-long career demonstrates consistent leadership in operationalizing design within product teams.
