Senior🎓
Top SchoolJohn Eriksson is a seasoned Senior Platform Engineer and founder with 16 years of experience designing and automating cloud-native infrastructure and developer platforms across enterprises like Volvo Group, Spotify and multiple scaling startups. He combines hands-on DevSecOps and SRE expertise—Terraform, Kubernetes, GCP/Azure automation, observability stacks and CI/CD templating—with a pragmatic focus on enabling developer self-service and team autonomy. As founder of 9000 AB he consults on platform, security and SRE practices while still preferring to "get his hands dirty" in implementation. His background spans regulated healthcare systems (HIPAA/FDA) to high-scale streaming and shipping platforms, giving him a rare mix of compliance, reliability and automation experience. An early actor and theatre student, he brings creative problem-solving and communication skills that surface in tooling, internal developer UX and cross-organizational change.
