Top SchoolJohn Kendall is a product manager with a technical pedigree (BS in Computer Science from Michigan and an MBA from MIT) and a track record of shipping developer-focused cloud-native products across Microsoft, Amazon, Cockroach Labs, Datadog, Snyk, and now Google. He pairs hands-on engineering experience with product strategy, having built a CockroachDB Kubernetes Operator from 0-to-1 that drove 76% compounded monthly growth and led Datadog’s Kubernetes Overview Experience that boosted weekly active users by over 20%. At Snyk he launched IaC+ and steered platform-level decisions that preserved top customers and enabled the company’s largest IaC-led deal. He regularly turns technical work into marketable thought leadership—authoring cloud and container reports that influenced revenue and adoption. Based in the New York City area, he thrives in data-driven, customer-centric teams and is comfortable influencing C-suite strategy while still shipping developer-facing features. A former developer and test engineer, he brings an uncommon blend of technical depth, product instincts, and go-to-market impact.
