Top SchoolJohn Ludena is a Senior Frontend Engineer with over a decade of experience crafting scalable React and TypeScript applications across SaaS, energy, ecommerce, and agency contexts. He specializes in accessible, workflow-driven interfaces and design systems that hold up in production, often building reusable component libraries and complex multi-step user flows for data-intensive apps. His background spans frontend integrations with Node.js APIs, Postgres/Supabase/Firebase databases, and deployments on Vercel, Netlify, GCP, and AWS, plus hands-on ecommerce and CMS work (Shopify, BigCommerce, WordPress, Drupal). At companies from agencies to Fortune 500 contractors he’s delivered pixel-accurate, WCAG-compliant UIs and robust automated tests to ensure reliability at scale. Based in Houston, he combines a BFA in Art & Design with formal frontend engineering training, bringing a designer’s eye to engineering challenges and a knack for making complex workflows feel simple. Currently open to remote frontend roles, he quietly excels at turning dense data requirements into clear, usable experiences.
