SeniorJohn Morrow is a seasoned software and production engineering leader with 13+ years delivering large-scale, highly reliable systems across networking, security, and video infrastructure. Currently Director of Software Engineering at Snowflake, he previously led security engineering at Lacework and built SRE teams for Facebook’s global edge, CDN and network platforms. His background spans founding a live-streaming CDN startup to hands-on systems architecture and operations roles, giving him rare end-to-end expertise from low-level network ops to executive engineering strategy. He excels at managing distributed teams that operate at internet scale, optimizing latency-sensitive systems and automating complex operational workflows.
