Senior🎓
Top SchoolJohn Odey is a Smart Contract Developer with 8 years in software engineering and 4+ years focused on building and auditing Solidity contracts for DeFi, PoL, gaming and NFT products. Based in Lagos, he blends formal electrical and electronics engineering training with pragmatic web and blockchain development experience, from WordPress design to architecting L2 migration scripts. At Nahmii he not only deployed and tested production contracts but wrote a script that processed over $4M in tokens during a Layer‑2 upgrade and built subgraphs to speed on‑chain data access. He regularly performs code reviews and security audits, collaborates with off‑chain teams on anti‑slashing integrations, and maintains a strong emphasis on unit testing and robustness. Quietly versatile, he moves between front-end UX concerns and low-level smart contract hardening, making him effective across the full web3 stack.
