Top SchoolJohn Panos is a software engineer with nine years of hands-on experience building systems that bridge software and hardware, currently contributing to Unwrap from Santa Barbara. He has progressed from internships and research roles—developing ML models for clinical sensor fusion and robotics vision—to production engineering at AppFolio and Salesforce-driven portals at CATLab West. Comfortable across the stack, he has implemented React/React Native frontends, Node.js backends with PostgreSQL, iOS apps, and Salesforce Apex/Lightning components. His background includes real-time control algorithms, PID-based robotics subsystems, and AI model training for vision tasks, reflecting a blend of embedded thinking and web-scale delivery. Colleagues describe him as someone who enjoys uncovering how software talks to hardware and turning that insight into reliable infrastructure and user-facing features.
