Top SchoolJohn Pobojewski is a partner and design director in Chicago who blends brand strategy with interactive, sound, motion, and environmental design to create immersive intermedia experiences. With over a decade leading studios including Thirst and now Span, he has built work recognized by Print, Communication Arts, and Newcity’s Design 50 and preserved in the Art Institute of Chicago and Letterform Archive. He presents widely—from TEDx to international conferences—and teaches across U.S. colleges, translating experimental practice into public exhibitions and commercial projects. His digital projections for theatre and collaborations in group shows reveal a rare ability to fuse typographic rigor with performative, temporal media. Trained in both visual communication and music, he often approaches projects with a musician’s sensitivity to timing and rhythm, informing his hybrid design work.
