Top SchoolJohn Shahbazian is a Principal Product Engineer based in Tampa with over a decade of hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native platforms and DevOps tooling across startups and large enterprises. He has progressed from software engineer and manager roles at the University of South Florida to systems and DevOps positions at Farmers Insurance, JPMorgan Chase, Ceros, and now senior technical leadership at Coforma. Known for translating product requirements into reliable infrastructure, he combines solution architecture thinking with practical delivery—recently moving from Senior DevOps to Principal Solutions Architect and now Product Engineer within the same company. His background in computer science (BS/MS) and long tenure in Tampa-area engineering teams give him deep institutional knowledge of production systems and operational excellence. Colleagues rely on him to reduce operational risk while accelerating feature delivery, and he brings a pragmatic blend of hands-on automation and architectural oversight. An understated strength is his ability to bridge developer needs and product goals, making infrastructure a competitive enabler rather than a constraint.
