Top SchoolJohn Shammas is an investor and public speaker with 11 years of experience building global market infrastructure for modern fintech, having helped scale DriveWealth from early stage to a platform handling ~$1B+ in daily trading volume. He led product, growth, sales, and engineering teams through Series A to D+, launching brokerage products across equities, options, fixed income and funds and enabling partners like Cash App, Revolut, Toss and Stake across North America, Europe, APAC and LATAM. John pairs technical product leadership with commercial fluency, originating and closing complex multi-year partnerships while architecting API-driven, programmable financial primitives for new markets. Now investing in early-stage fintech and speaking widely on embedded investing and market infrastructure, he brings operator-scale judgment and a pragmatic focus on global expansion — an engineer-turned-exec who began freelancing as a designer and developer in his teens.
