Top SchoolJohn Tsevdos is a seasoned front-end leader with over 12 years of professional experience and 18 years crafting elegant, usable web applications, currently leading the front-end team at Orfium where he oversees multiple SPAs and the company design system. He specializes in React and TypeScript ecosystems (Next.js, Astro, Recoil, redux, zustand) and pairs hands-on implementation with product-facing responsibilities like backlog grooming, API design, CI/CD pipelines and testing. A habitual mentor and instructor, he runs meetups, workshops and consulting engagements, and contributes to open source while maintaining a personal portfolio of projects and npm packages. Equally curious about language design and paradigms, he’s exploring Rust, functional and reactive patterns (Gleam, Ramda, RxJS) to bring stronger correctness and composability to front-end architectures. Based in Athens, he combines pragmatic engineering with a dislike of spaghetti code and bureaucracy, preferring clean architecture, automation and TDD to scale teams and products.
