John Wang is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin–Madison studying Computer Science and Data Science, combining a budding technical foundation in object-oriented programming with practical problem-solving shown in personal projects. As a House Fellow and former café barista, he brings cross-cultural communication experience—having supported residents from over 20 countries—and customer-facing operational skills from fast-paced service work. An avid badminton player training toward the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games, he leverages athletic discipline and forward-thinking strategy in team and tech contexts. Based in White Rock, BC and seeking Summer 2024 internships, John is eager to contribute to software or data teams while continuing to expand his engineering toolkit.
