Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolJohnny Amancio is a Senior Software Engineer with over a decade of experience building and scaling high-traffic backend systems, currently contributing to the leading open-source AI coding agent at Kilo Code. He has a proven track record at Amazon delivering LLM-powered content platforms, achieving dramatic cost and latency reductions, and executing zero-downtime serverless migrations that served millions of customers. Comfortable across Go, Java, Python and TypeScript, he combines deep distributed-systems expertise with hands-on AI/LLM integration (Amazon Bedrock, Claude) and AWS-native architectures. Notable but less obvious strengths include translating ambiguous product goals into pragmatic, auditable designs and speeding release cycles from weeks to days through process and tooling improvements. Bilingual in Portuguese and English and based in Madrid, he blends cross-team leadership with active engagement in open-source developer communities.
