Top SchoolJon Brown is an Apple-focused IT leader, ISSO, and founder with 12+ years of hands-on experience building secure, compliant macOS infrastructure for nonprofits, federal contractors, and advocacy campaigns. He founded Grove Technologies and led its acquisition, then scaled Apple MDM, zero-touch deployment, and DevSecOps practices as VP Technology at Interlaced and Head of IT at Eleven Peppers. Jon combines executive strategy (Executive MBA) and technical depth (CISSP, CSSLP, JAMF Certified Expert) to align NIST/CMMC security frameworks with practical endpoint automation and identity integrations. His work has powered high-stakes initiatives—from a Congressional Lookup tool for nationwide advocacy to infrastructure for NIH and NSF programs—demonstrating an unusual mix of product-minded engineering and policy-facing delivery. He mentors early-career IT professionals and often operates as a hands-on integrator, scripting automations and unifying disparate MDMs to reduce operational overhead. Based in Silver Spring, MD, he’s known for translating mission-driven goals into resilient, Apple-first IT platforms that scale.
