Top SchoolJon Haines is a cybersecurity GRC professional with nine years of experience who currently serves as Senior Analyst for Global Financial Control - IT SOC Governance in New York. He holds CISSP and CISA certifications and has practical experience deploying and operationalizing NIST CSF/RMF, the emerging AI RMF, ISO 27001, and SOX-aligned controls across enterprise environments. Jon combines hands-on incident response, wallet custody and crypto-forensics consulting for Bitcoin/Ethereum clients, and leading organizational risk assessments and compliance audits. His background in sales and BDR roles gives him a pragmatic ability to translate technical and regulatory complexity into business-ready strategies that stakeholders adopt. Unusually, he pairs this technical skillset with PhD-level study in Thomistic philosophy, using ethical and political theory to anticipate governance and AI risk implications. That blend of rigorous technical practice, client-facing advisory experience, and ethical foresight makes him effective at building trustworthy, auditable security programs.
