Top SchoolJon Hieb is a software engineer and 0-to-1 solutions architect with 12 years of experience building scalable web and cloud-native systems from concept to production. He’s delivered high-impact products and infrastructure — from pioneering Node/TypeScript domain microservices and a reusable CDK construct library to launching a claims intake app that reached 10,000+ daily users within weeks. Jon combines deep hands-on shipping (thousands of lines weekly) with architectural leadership, having overseen decisions across dozens of engineers and reduced development startup cost by 75% at DHI. He’s driven measurable results in fraud reduction, reliability, and user conversion through pragmatic use of ML, observability, and feature experimentation. Based in Lafayette, Colorado, he balances technical rigor with product instincts and brings an outdoorsy mindset—alpinist and father—into collaborative, mission-driven teams.
