Senior🎓
Top SchoolJon Jackson is an IoT and software engineering leader with 10+ years of experience blending hands-on full‑stack development, academic leadership and startup building. He co-founded and sold a web SaaS for the Film & TV industry, runs consultancy and startup ventures, and currently leads degree apprenticeship and IoT provision at Queen Mary University of London. Equally comfortable in PHP, Laravel, React/Next.js and cloud tooling as in curriculum design and end‑point assessment, he helps early-stage founders reduce stress by turning product ideas into pragmatic, scalable systems. A Chartered IT Professional and HEA Fellow, Jon pairs formal teaching accolades with practical delivery—an educator who still ships code. Less obvious: he signs British Sign Language and reads literary fiction to reset his perspective between technical and educational challenges.
