Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolJon Meredith is a seasoned software engineer with 17 years of experience building resilient, distributed systems and leading engineering teams across startups and enterprise settings. Currently at Apple, he brings deep expertise in databases, replication, and fault-tolerant architectures honed as Chief Architect and VP Engineering at Basho where he redesigned global replication and championed property-based testing. Jon has hands-on full-stack FinTech experience from Sunlight Payments, delivering an end-to-end Scala platform on AWS to improve nonprofit transparency. He combines technical leadership—recruiting, scaling teams, and shaping product strategy—with a practitioner’s mindset of shipping robust, production-ready systems. Based in Littleton, Colorado, he pairs an electrical and electronics engineering background with a long track record of solving hard consistency and scaling problems. An unusual strength is moving between high-level strategy and low-level algorithmic work, from board-facing product planning to proving eventual-consistency properties in code.
