Top SchoolJon Wedaman is a senior software engineer with 15 years of experience building and operating scalable web and platform infrastructure, currently contributing at Cisco Meraki from Boston. He has deep hands-on expertise across AWS, Terraform, Docker, CI systems (Jenkins, CircleCI, Concourse), observability stacks, and configuration management (SaltStack/Ansible), and has driven large CI migrations that improved security, reliability, and cost. Jon has a track record of mentoring engineers, shepherding SOC2/ISO audits, and turning legacy applications into maintainable, autoscaling services. He excels at pragmatic automation—building a Jenkins test fleet of 300+ nodes and compressing 24 hours of tests into 20 minutes—while keeping cloud costs under tight budgets. Beyond core ops, he’s comfortable shipping full-stack Python and Node.js work and has repeatedly led cross-team efforts during mergers and platform transitions. A longtime problem-solver, he pairs disciplined process improvements with practical tooling choices to reduce toil and prevent outages.
