Summary
👤
SeniorJon Whipple is a Principal designer and design strategist based in Vancouver with over a decade leading cross-media visual communications and experience design. He transforms design from a tactical operation into an organization-wide strategic function, blending branding, typography, explanation graphics and service design to solve messy real-world problems. His background ranges from architectural presentation art and roofing to running a building maintenance business, giving him a rare, pragmatic perspective on how careful systems and details elevate everyday work. As founder of Design Counsel and a long-standing CGD member, he pairs client facilitation, technical training and project leadership with a talent for clear instructional and presentation materials. Colleagues know him for turning unglamorous processes into quietly elegant systems that beneficiaries rarely notice but always benefit from.
