Jonas Jasas
Summary
👤
SeniorJonas Jasas is a pragmatic Chief Technology Officer with over two decades of software experience and a decade in senior product-focused engineering roles, currently leading ConvertAPI from Lithuania. He blends systems-level backend engineering (Go, .NET, C#) with lightweight, cache- and HTTP/2-optimized front-ends (TypeScript), having architected high-throughput file conversion pipelines and globally distributed file servers. Jonas favors simplicity and well-chosen tools to deliver reliable, high-performance systems that handle sustained large file flows and automated VM provisioning. As a freelancer he built client libraries, automated front-ends generated from API metadata, and clever Chrome DevTools-driven converters—demonstrating an eye for automation and reusable tooling. Comfortable with remote work and operations, he routinely bridges infrastructure, orchestration, and developer ergonomics to reduce maintenance overhead. His practical focus on measurable performance and deployable simplicity makes him a hands-on CTO who still ships core technical solutions.
