Greater Stockholm Metropolitan Area Sweden
Summary
👤
SeniorJonas Johansson is a founder and seasoned game software engineer with 11 years of professional experience building and leading teams for major IP-driven titles across studios like Crytek, Rovio, King, Toca Boca and Avalanche. As founder of Neuston he delivers hands-on programming and technical leadership for clients, blending startup agility with AAA and mobile game production discipline. He led engineering efforts on Angry Birds 2 to reach a 100+ million audience and contributed to Crysis, Just Cause 2, Crash Bandicoot: On The Run and Toca Boca World. Comfortable across engines and in-house tech, Jonas has shipped racing, open-world and casual mobile games and routinely steps into both architecture and day-to-day coding. Based in the Greater Stockholm area, he pairs product-focused consulting with entrepreneurial drive and a track record of turning licensed IP into polished, high-scale live games. A not-obvious strength is his ability to pivot between client-facing leadership and deep technical execution, keeping teams shipping while still contributing significant code.
