Jonas Långbacka is an antenna and RF engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience bridging electromagnetics, mmWave antenna design and embedded software. Currently at Acconeer he researches thin mmWave dielectric lenses and anti-reflective metasurfaces while validating radar integrations, radomes and 60 GHz IC package antennas for production. He combines theoretical EM modeling with practical PCB, analog/digital hardware and mechanical prototyping skills, and writes production and test software in Python and C. Jonas has driven ASIC-level EMC simulations to meet strict automotive standards and built mass-production test frameworks and drivers used across product lines. Known for strong debugging and numerical problem-solving, he often reduces complex RF problems to practical, manufacturable solutions. He holds a master’s in electromagnetics and math and brings uncommon depth in both antenna theory and productionized test software.
