Top SchoolJonas Luft is a Senior Data & AI Engineer with nine years of experience building full-stack automated systems that bridge computer vision, robotics, human–machine interaction and geospatial data. He blends academic rigor—pursuing a PhD in Geoinformatics—with hands-on product work driving AI and data initiatives across startups and research labs, most recently innovating renewable energy at syte. Jonas has led AI teams, cracked data silos for real estate and turned CAD inputs into cost-sensitive production insights, demonstrating a rare ability to move models from research into production-grade pipelines. Based in Lower Saxony, he favors open source tooling and focuses on practical decision support and urban-scale simulations, bringing systems thinking to complex, human-centered environments. An interesting thread across his career is the consistent pairing of geospatial research with business-impacting automation, making him adept at translating spatial complexity into deployable intelligence.
