Senior🎓
Top SchoolJonatas Hermann is a seasoned software engineer from Santa Catarina, Brazil, with 15 years of experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems, and over a decade focused on Ruby on Rails architecture. He has balanced hands-on engineering and leadership roles—currently at Mustard while co-founding and serving as CTO of Waitlistr—shipping production systems from monolith-to-microservice migrations to payment and notification integrations. His background spans freelancing at Toptal to technical lead positions, with deep operational experience on AWS, Sidekiq, Redis, PostgreSQL and deploy automation that drove measurable performance gains. Notably, he’s repeatedly optimized critical workflows (e.g., cutting report generation from minutes to seconds) and built customer-facing tools like booking and waiting-list platforms that emphasize transparency and scale.
