Senior🎓
Top SchoolJonathan Abbett is a UX-focused software leader with 13 years of experience designing and delivering complex web and clinical applications across healthcare, biotech, and pharmaceutical research. He blends interaction design, ethnographic research, and front-end engineering (HTML5/CSS3/jQuery) to translate user goals and business outcomes into measurable product strategy. As a VP of User Experience, he has led cross-functional teams that built drug discovery tools, clinical trials platforms, physician portals, and outcomes-focused customer management systems. Jonathan is comfortable bridging research and engineering—having authored reusable component libraries at Novartis and designed synchronization architectures for personal health records earlier in his career. He is based in Boston and brings an uncommon personal note to his work: a practiced interest in cheesemaking that reflects his hands-on, iterative approach to craft and process. Known for asking what success looks like up front, he frames design work around clear metrics and broader societal impact.
