Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolJonathan Barbeau is a front-end web developer based in Quebec with nearly a decade of experience crafting custom WordPress themes and interactive web experiences. He blends practical production work—HTML/CSS/Sass, JavaScript, WooCommerce and Magento—with creative coding using WebGL libraries like Three.js, Pixi.js and p5.js to deliver visually compelling, performant sites. As a freelance developer and creative technologist he’s shipped e-commerce integrations (Snipcart) and led R&D on internal tooling for animation and WebGL projects. He also creates algorithmic art that explores emergence and natural systems without using AI, often seeding generative pieces with real-world data like satellite imagery or weather. Comfortable toggling between maintenance-heavy back-end patches and experimental front-end builds, he brings a pragmatic curiosity that turns research into production-ready web interfaces.
