Top SchoolJonathan Dong is a software engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience, a University of Michigan 2023 graduate, and currently building patient accounts receivable systems at Candid Health in New York. He brings full-stack fluency—from Next.js/TypeScript front ends and Java APIs to iOS features and AWS Lambda—developed across several roles at Capital One. Jonathan has contributed to high-profile open-source projects like Apache Weex, where he improved Android/iOS SDKs and automated release processes, showing an aptitude for build automation and release engineering. Comfortable moving between mobile, backend, and infrastructure code, he favors pragmatic automation to streamline builds and deployments. Describing himself wryly as "A Lazy Hacker," he channels that mindset into efficiency: removing unnecessary CI tasks and scripting repeatable release workflows. Colleagues can expect a versatile engineer who pairs cross-platform mobile experience with production-focused automation.
