Top SchoolJonathan Ferreira is a Lead Software Engineer based in the New York City area with seven years of experience building cloud-native media infrastructure and consumer-facing games. At Paramount he leads engineering efforts after architecting AWS serverless pipelines for video, audio, and caption transcoding, and previously supported platform operations for AAA game teams at BioWare. Skilled in C#, Python, and JavaScript, he bridges frontend/mobile development and hardcore blockchain/distributed systems, regularly contributing to open source. Trained in Game Programming and Creative Arts & Technology, he pairs a creative background—including a published novel and multiple indie mobile titles—with pragmatic engineering to deliver scalable, production-grade systems. An atypical blend of storyteller and platform engineer, he thrives where media, games, and distributed systems intersect.
